Hello!!!
So after almost 6 years in business, I have finally decided to listen to my Photography voice! Choosing to pursue and capture the things that sing to my heart, and reaffirm in my Spirit the entire reason I went down this road of becoming a Photographer. Choosing to only pursue those things, may limit the amount of work I can get, but it’s time folks. Lifestyle Photography was the basis of my business from the day it was born. Capturing the images of Life, was my catch phrase, and it still is. Though I do like to get a posed image in there, what I really want is your silly, non bashful, undistracted, Love that you show with your Family. I want the in between moments, when you don’t realize the camera is still shooting.
What is your Story? Where are you at in this stage of Life? Whether you are just starting with your first child, or welcoming the 5th, I want to help you remember this stage of life. From the sweet kiss on your newborns head, to the crazy pulls he gives you while walking ahead, its all apart of your Life’s story, and are cherished in years to come.
So with this new Path, I decided to change the name of my business from JYipp to Jamilla Yipp Photography. Also with a new name, goes a new website! My old website www.jyipp.com will no longer exist, and all of my blog posts will be transferred over here. Please stay with me during this change :).
Jamilla Yipp Photography will no longer be accepting Event Photography. I love shooting wedding and Birthday Parties, but at this stage in my life it is best for me to step away from this area of Photography. I have a great list of Photographers that I highly recommend to shoot events, and I will gladly send you their way if you email me. My passion is with my Family and Newborn sessions, and I want to devote my time there.
Also I had to make a change in my pricing. In order to better serve my existing and new clients, my costs need to be properly accounted for. You can check out the new pricing structure in the investment tab. I don’t like taking prices to far out of reach for some, so I implemented to prices per category.
Thanks again for sticking with JYipp Photography, as I now transition into Jamilla Yipp Photography. It is the support of my loyal clients, that built the stones of my small business, and for that I am always thankful!
