I get the pleasure of working with this Family every Year, and for a change of pace she choose to do a Lifestyle- Documentary session 3 yr pictures in their Home! I love, love, love shooting sessions in the Home. I love documenting their rooms, and their favorite toys! Being in your home generally puts them at ease, making for a smoother session, and you get the bonus of freezing this little part of your life. Your house won’t always look like this, Her room will change one day, and her favorite toys will grow with her. But for just a moment during your session, none of that matters. At this moment she is your newly turned 3 yr old without a care in the World. Still clinging her favorite books, and baby dolls. He little features are still small, and her room is still a big adventure for her!
Lifestyle sessions are just short little snippets of your Life in it’s current state. However clean or messy it is what and who are are as a Family for this season. Choosing to have a Lifestyle/ Documentary session is choosing to embrace the chaos, and cherish the moment.
