To cherish your giggle, your smile, and the way you turn when you hear my voice. To get you to smile the way only I know how, and to snuggle you from your head to your toes. To feel your tiny hands wrap around my fingers, and the peace you find when I am near. The smile, that only you can give me, and for a moment time is frozen still as your steadily keep growing.
Freezing time we can’t do, but freezing a moment I can! This is why I cherish and Love capturing Mommy and Me sessions. This is also the reason I shoot them the way that I do. These sessions are meant to just document, you, your child, and the interactions you share with them.
Parenthood isn’t glamourous, and the days are hard most of the time. Sleep is something we elusively chase, and keep dreaming of the day it will get better. Unfortunatly what I found is that the day it does get better, is the day they don’t need me they way they used to.
As my kids age, I find my self chershing them more, and embracing the mess and the chaos. Also, embracing the body I am in, and forcing myself in the frame.
This client is a wonderful Photographer, and friend of mine, and I was so glad to capture these fleeting moments for her.
