Maternity Sessions are so Lovely. Oh and for this Beautiful Women, this was her first. I love that you can see the joy and excitement and nervousness in here. All of the joy she feels, as her baby kicks inside of her. All of the wonderment of how her baby is going to look, how big will he be, and how are they going to know what to do. Embracing her changing body as it prepares to make her a Mother. There is so much beauty and strength in her, even when we as Women don’t feel that way. We feel huge and awkward, but oh to all my pregnant Mamas out there, you are Beautiful, and you are do an Amazing job. Rock that belly with pride.

We met at Pleasant Home last Fall to take these photos, it was a little bit chilly but the Sun decided to show up and do its thing! Mom also wore a form fitting dress, which I highly recommend during Maternity sessions. You don’t have to go all out and show the belly, but you do need the belly to be seen. Loose fitting dresses usually hide the belly too much, and you don’t pick up on its shape, especially if you are a smaller Mom, and the belly is more hidden. Remember, the purpose of a Maternity session is to show off the belly, not the time to hide it.
