I had the honor of shooting this Chicago Birth Story, at Northwestern Prentice Hospital. I have to say walking into a Birth Story, you never know what you are going to get. Birth is such a tumultuous, filled with incredible highs and lows all at the same time. You as a Mom will experience the greatest pain you have ever felt, in conjunction with the greatest joy when that baby is finally placed in your arms.
Many Woman decided their Birth plan differently and no option is right or wrong, it is the option that works best for you! This Mom opted for an epidural, and it was the best option for her. I have to say though after she received it she was a ball of joy and energy, I don’t think I laughed as much as I did in a Birthing room ;). She had an amazing birth team, for her loving supportive rock of a Husband, to her Mom and her Sister. She definitely had her tribe present during the birth.
It was a joy capturing her Birth, and I loved every minute of it.
